THE COMPANY SHOW

With new works commissioned each year, the Company show strives to elevate the art of dance as a tool for social commentary and to engage and educate the community on pressing social issues. Through this process, RACE reinforces its dedication to producing works of social significance, fostering a culture of informed empathy and action within the community.

Disorder: Confronting Self-Stigmas is a performance of new and original works that challenge societal stigmas and celebrates individuality through the power of movement. Through a diverse range of works that explore the complexities of self-acceptance and the courage to confront personal struggles, dancers from RACE and Oklahoma Movement showcase their unique styles and shed light on the importance of embracing our true selves.

From contemporary to hip-hop, ballet to jazz, Disorder-Confronting Self Stigmas delivers a poignant display of artistry, emotion, and powerful narratives that will leave you inspired and moved.
